We’re a global, people-first software house matching ambitious developers, designers, and digital experts with challenging projects. Our team of almost 100 professionals helps build and improve digital businesses, software platforms, eCommerce stores, websites, apps, and everything in between. And they’re good at it.

We're looking for a highly creative UX/UI Designer to join Polcode as a long-term freelance partner.

What matters most to us isn't experience in a specific industry or a particular type of product. We're looking for someone whose portfolio immediately grabs attention. Someone who consistently creates digital experiences that stand out from the crowd and leave a lasting impression.

We believe great design should do more than solve problems. It should create a genuine wow effect. The kind that combines usability, aesthetics, storytelling, and originality into experiences that feel modern, memorable, and engaging.

You'll support a variety of digital projects, working alongside developers, project managers, and clients from different industries. Some projects will start from a blank canvas, others will require reimagining and elevating existing products. In every case, you'll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas, challenge obvious solutions, and shape products that stand out.We're also looking for someone who actively uses AI in their daily workflow and treats modern AI tools as a natural extension of the design process.

This is a flexible freelance partnership with no guaranteed minimum number of hours. The workload will vary depending on project needs and your availability.

• Design user journeys, interfaces, prototypes, and high-fidelity concepts

• Explore creative directions that balance business goals with exceptional design

• Lead design work from discovery to delivery

• Present and justify design decisions to clients and project teams

• Collaborate closely with developers throughout implementation

• Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, exploration, and execution

• Stay ahead of design trends and continuously push the quality of your work.

• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality, and exceptional visual design skills

• Strong commercial experience in UX/UI or Product Design

• Ability to create experiences that feel modern, engaging, and visually distinctive

• Excellent aesthetic judgment and attention to detail

• Strong command of modern UX/UI design tools and workflows, from wireframing and prototyping to high-fidelity visual design 

• Confidence in turning ideas into polished design solutions

• Active use of AI tools as part of the design workflow

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Fluent English.

• Experience facilitating workshops and discovery sessions

• Product-thinking and business-oriented mindset

• Experience working across different types of digital products

• Experience collaborating closely with development teams.
