We’re a global, people-first software house matching ambitious developers with challenging projects. Our team of almost 100 professionals helps build and improve digital businesses, software platforms, eCommerce stores, websites, apps, and everything in between. And they’re good at it.

We’re currently looking for an experienced macOS Platform Engineer to join a long-term project for an end client from the aviation industry.

You’ll work in an enterprise environment with more than 1,000 endpoints, supporting and scaling the client’s Apple Endpoint Management ecosystem. The role combines macOS platform engineering, device management, security, identity, software deployment, and automation.

This is not an end-user support role. You’ll work directly on the platform behind the client’s macOS environment, including the operation and further development of an MDM landscape based on Fleet.

We’re open when it comes to seniority - strong hands-on experience with macOS platform engineering matters most.

• Long-term enterprise project in the aviation industry

• Broad technical scope covering device management, security, IAM, software lifecycle, and automation

• Work focused on the macOS platform itself rather than traditional end-user support

• Cooperation planned until December 31, 2027, with an option to extend.

• Operate and further develop an MDM landscape based on Fleet

• Support the provisioning and operation of macOS devices and the related management platform

• Handle software packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management

• Configure and maintain policies, compliance requirements, and security guidelines

• Integrate and operate technologies such as Santa and Platform SSO (PSSO)

• Work with other Apple Enterprise Services

• Automate and optimize operational processes in the macOS environment

• Support the introduction of new Apple platform capabilities.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of macOS (Darwin/BSD-Unix)

• Proven background as a Platform Engineer

• Solid understanding of Device Management processes and architecture

• Familiarity with Identity & Access Management

• Knowledge of modern Apple management tools

• Experience working in enterprise environments with 1,000+ endpoints

• German & English at C1 level – must-have.

• Hands-on experience with Fleet

• Experience with Santa

• Familiarity with Platform SSO (PSSO)

• Strong background in automation within macOS environments

• Experience introducing new Apple platform capabilities in enterprise environments.
