We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer for a project-based cooperation focused on building payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce.

You’ll be the sole developer on the project, working alongside a Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer. This means real technical ownership: you’ll independently drive the implementation, make key technical decisions, and take the solution from architecture and REST API integration through to production-ready delivery.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working independently, knows how to turn requirements into pragmatic technical decisions, and can keep the development moving without day-to-day technical guidance.

• High level of autonomy — you’ll be the sole developer and technical owner of the implementation

• Short, project-based engagement with a clearly defined scope

• Real influence on architecture and key technical decisions

• Hands-on work with payment integrations across PrestaShop and WooCommerce

• End-to-end responsibility, from implementation decisions to final delivery

• Compact setup with a Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer.

• Independently build payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce

• Integrate e-commerce platforms with a payment gateway via REST API

• Implement payment flows, transaction statuses, refunds, and webhooks

• Build configuration options for store administrators

• Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions independently

• Take responsibility for security, code quality, and platform compatibility

• Work closely with the Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer

• Use AI tools as part of your development workflow

• Deliver production-ready modules within the agreed project scope.

• Senior-level PHP skills and strong commercial e-commerce experience

• Hands-on experience building PrestaShop modules

• Experience developing WordPress / WooCommerce plugins

• Strong experience with REST API and payment gateway integrations

• Good understanding of payment flows, webhooks, error handling, and security

• High level of independence - you need to be comfortable being the sole developer on the project

• Ability to make technical decisions and drive implementation without day-to-day technical guidance

• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills

• Experience with unit testing of key integration logic

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to support software development

• Full-time availability for the project time

• Availability to start in the second half of August (must-have).

• Experience with Polish payment methods, especially BLIK and pay-by-link

• A payment module or plugin in your portfolio

• JavaScript experience related to checkout flows or WooCommerce Blocks

• Experience preparing modules/plugins for distribution and platform validation

• Good command of English.
